About TEDi: Expansion since 2004

TEDi GmbH, based in Dortmund, was founded in 2004 and has expanded continuously since then – with new stores opening every week and a constantly growing store network. From the first store in Germany to the second store in other European countries, numerous TEDi stores have been opened to date: the company currently operates over 3,500 locations in 15 European countries.

TEDi is not only present in large cities – the company also feels at home in rural regions. Each new store is part of a sustainable growth strategy. As a location-strong non-food retailer, TEDi is constantly developing its store concept and adapting flexibly to local conditions.

The store in Essen is a consistent continuation of this approach. Today, it is one of the TEDi stores that add a wide range of products to the center – for young and old alike.
