REWE customers take note: You can park for 60 minutes free of charge in P 2 for a purchase of 15 euros or more.

After shopping, you can now also do your shopping at REWE in the Rathaus Galerie Essen. Rewe is a supermarket with a large selection of food and a wide range of different products from washing powder to pans.

About the company

REWE was founded in 1927 when 17 purchasing cooperatives joined forces. REWE also owns the supermarket nahkauf, the discounter Penny and the convenience store REWE To Go. In Germany, they are represented around 6000 times, including their own production facilities. Internationally, they are represented around 3500 times. REWE Group also owns DIY stores and tourism companies.
